His mother’s nickname was Milie Rose, she lived a stone’s throw from the hotel and raised him in a “palace of tenderness and vitality” the hotel name and atmosphere pay homage to her.

His inspiration is woven over this intimate background, travelling into the light and beauty of a simple yet wonderful world.
